CHRISTMAS TREE IN BALENGOU

In a world where social inequalities are particularly visible during festive periods, it seemed essential to us to offer a different Christmas to the families of Balengou, a village in western Cameroon.

It was from this observation that the first edition of the **Balengou Christmas Tree** event was born, held on December 17, 2023, on the esplanade of the chiefdom. More than 2,000 people—children, parents, and guests—gathered to celebrate a moment of joy, culture, and sharing together.

Under the blessing of His Majesty Nguemen Hapi Elvis Guy and in the presence of the Sub-prefect of Bazou, this day was marked by highlights combining tradition, education, and solidarity: performances by local artists, traditional dances performed by children, and the distribution of gifts to both young and old.

Beyond the celebration, this initiative aims to decentralize solidarity actions, which are often concentrated in large cities like Douala or Yaoundé, to make them accessible where they are most needed.

As our Founding President emphasized:

"Together, we have shown that solidarity is a light that shines brightly when it is shared."
